We are looking for a qualified Front-end developer to join our exceptional Engineering team. As a Front-end Developer at Howso, you will be responsible for creating front-end experiences for internal and external web applications. You will work collaboratively with our engineering and product teams and will play an impactful role in the success of our business. Anyone joining our team should be a strong communicator with a willingness to accept constructive advice. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Create elegant, fast-loading, modern web interfaces using front-end web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Participate in regular code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging AI technologies, trends and best practices
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders and other team members to ensure project success.
• Maintain and improve existing software code to optimize for performant user experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Develop, test, and deploy responsive designs for web and mobile applications.

• 7 years of professional experience
• Excellent skills with HTML, Tailwind CSS, Javascript TypeScript
• Experience with frameworks such as Vue or React
• Strong background in mathematics with high level of confidence charting/plotting data
• Experience with visualization libraries such as D3
• Familiar with version control such as git
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
