ProRata builds the infrastructure for ethical, transparent AI engagement. Through products like Gist Answers and Attribution, we create a licensed, revenue-sharing ecosystem that empowers publishers, platforms, and creators to benefit from AI-generated value. We’re a Series B company scaling globally—and partnerships are at the heart of how we grow.
Role
The Strategic Partner Manager owns day-to-day partner relationships and drives adoption, integration, and growth across Gist Answers and Attribution. You’ll work hands-on with publishers, technology platforms, and scaling partners to deliver measurable outcomes for the business (turning insights into product improvements and strengthening every partnership through data, trust, and shared success). This role suits a strategic operator who thrives at the intersection of product, data, and relationships—translating business goals into tangible partner outcomes in a fast-moving startup environment.
Responsibilities
Partner Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for key partners. Build enduring, trust-based relationships grounded in shared objectives and transparent communication.
Adoption & Integration: Lead partners through onboarding, technical integration, and optimization, ensuring seamless deployment and measurable business impact.
Performance & Insights: Analyze usage and performance data to identify growth opportunities. Share regular reports and insights that help partners expand adoption and revenue impact.
Feedback & Advocacy: Gather structured partner feedback and champion it internally. Collaborate with Business Product Delivery and Engineering to translate partner needs into roadmap features and workflow improvements.
Joint Planning: Run quarterly business reviews, develop co-growth plans, and co-design adoption playbooks with partners to sustain long-term success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Ads, Business Product Delivery, and Engineering teams to align objectives, ensure smooth technical execution, develop forecasts of business impact of new products or integrations, and deliver on commercial outcomes.
Startup Execution: Design and operationalize scalable partner workflows where none exist. Bring order to ambiguity while keeping momentum high.
Qualifications
5–8 years in partner management, strategic account management, or business development within media, ad tech, or technology platforms
Demonstrated success managing complex partnerships focused on integration, adoption, and optimization (not just sourcing deals)
Strong analytical and communication skills—comfortable translating metrics into insight and action
Technical fluency: ability to engage on API-driven integrations, attribution workflows, or data pipelines with partner and internal teams
Deep understanding of publisher monetization, licensing, or measurement ecosystems
Experience influencing product direction through structured partner feedback
Preferred Qualifications
Background with attribution, measurement, or content-distribution platforms (e.g., Google, Meta, WordPress, beehiiv, Substack, or similar)
Exposure to AI-enabled products or data-driven advertising ecosystems
Work Environment
This is a remote/hybrid role depending on geography (open to CA, CO, IL, MD, NY, TX, or WA but NY is preferred). Employees are expected to have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup. Occasional travel (25%) may be required.
Compensation
The compensation for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience. The estimated salary range for this role is 125,000 - 160,000 USD.
