PadhAI is looking for an SEO Content Writer to craft high-impact long‑form content, land high‑intent UPSC keywords, and build aspirational community engagement. You’ll work on outreach campaigns and blogs that solve real aspirants’ pain points.

Our flagship product, PadhAI, is tailored for UPSC and allied civil services exam preparation. Founded by PhD graduates from Stanford, Berkeley AI Research and IITians, we’re rapidly scaling a learning platform trusted by tens of thousands across India.

Role Summary

We’re seeking a SEO Content Writer to lead our content strategy and community engagement efforts around UPSC preparation. This full‑time role combines storytelling, SEO, and growth work in an early-stage startup environment - with brand-building and user outreach in equal measure.


What You’ll Do

  • Own long‑form, SEO‑optimized content for blogs, guides, landing pages, and mobile content that speaks to UPSC aspirants’ pain points and exam needs.

  • Conduct keyword research & prioritization, optimizing content for search intent using tools like Ahrefs and Google Search Console.

  • Plan and manage content editorial calendar alongside growth campaigns, working cross-functionally with product and marketing.

  • Engage with aspirants in public channels (TG groups, Reddit communities, Insta AMAs), collect feedback, and translate insights into content ideas.

  • Track and optimize performance metrics - traffic, bounce rate, scroll depth, CTA clicks - and adjust content strategy based on data.


Who You Are

  • A genuine storyteller with analytical curiosity, able to craft narratives that resonate with exam-going students even without formal UPSC preparation experience.

  • You’re comfortable juggling multiple workflows, organizing content calendars, and meeting deadlines independently.

  • Highly motivated with clear and engaging written English, and ideal if you're bilingual (English/Hindi).

  • Fast learner - you dig into unfamiliar syllabus topics to understand them well enough to write about them.


Required Experience & Education

  • Must be a graduate (Bachelor’s degree) — entry-level is fine; no prior domain expertise required.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with strong analytical thinking.

  • Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets for tracking, analysis, and planning.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining cross-team cadence and deadlines.

Compensation: ₹3,00,000 fixed + ₹2,00,000 performance-based variable

Location: Gurgaon Office, India

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Full-Time)

Start Date: Immediate
